stupid cupid
i admit that i am one of the many scrooge of valentine's day. i do not usualy celebrate valentine's day because almost everybody is doing it. i do not like the hype valentine's day brings. but this year it is a bit different.
the only person that devoids man from the simple joys in life is himself.
i went on to surprise daisy in velentine's day. i had the deed well planned weeks ahead that i already know where to buy the flowers days before feb 14; that i already know how to cope up with the class that i am going to miss that day; that i know what time to go there, and where to go. for a while i found myself ashamed of the same things most of the people did that day. the trip at the local flower shop was one of the most embarassing moments in my life. i had to ask myself time and again how to go to cabanatuan without being noticd that i have a big boquet of flowres in my hands.
but as i was watcing the flowers that i picked got arranged in the way i know daisy would like, i slowly learned to understand why people are suckers for love and why people are extra suckers every feb 14. when i boarded the bus to cabanatuan i found myself thrilled with the idea that i will surprise daisy in her workplace with the flowers at hand. slowly i learned how to enjoy it. for a while i felt ashamed of myself to have been so timid in celebrating valentine's day. the hell i care with what others will say anyway?
i am so happy with so many things i cannot divulge. perhaps i will keep the remainder of the day for myself and cherish it as it has shown me a life i would definitely would like to have someday.

i agree, valentine's day is somewhat overrated.
pero come to think of it, parang yan yung high school prom. december pa lang, nagda diet at naghahanda na ang mga lola in prep for their big day na sa feb pa.
siguro lang, in addition to the feeling of being in love, the excitement hypes things up a bit more.
i'm happy for you, chong! :) ingat kayo palagi! :)
